Alzheimers Marlborough uses appropriate and relevant resources plus the experience and knowledge of our educators to run the education programme.

To accompany our education courses Alzheimers Marlborough also offers presentations on dementia to professionals, and community groups (Lions Clubs etc).

Caring with Confidence Course

This course is to help families and friends to increase your knowledge, confidence and understanding in a way that will assist you in supporting your person with dementia. You will receive information and education and in addition the opportunity to connect with other family members in a safe environment and to share your experiences of the issues you face. It can increase family members skills and reduce stress as we look at topics like: Communication with a person with dementia, Understanding behaviours and Looking after yourself.

Education Opportunities

Alzheimers Marlborough offers a range of dementia-related education presentations for health and other professionals.
