Get active

  • Try some exercises at home. These tips from We Are Undefeatable will help to get you started. Listen to your body, start slowly and if you are in pain at any point, stop the activity.
  • Watch these videos from Age Concern's Steady as You Go programme and from the US National Council on Aging
  • Have a dance in a seated or standing position. Smiling and laughing makes us feel good and improves oxygen intake, stimulates circulation, as well as relaxing our muscles.
