September is World Alzheimer’s Month and we have a month of events planned around the country.
World Alzheimer's Month in New Zealand is about raising awareness, helping to create more dementia-friendly communities and giving a voice to people living with dementia.

Thursday 1 September
Gisborne: Alzheimers Gisborne fundraiser ‘Spud in a Bucket Competition’ has begun. Residents are invited to participate in the fundraiser and purchase a Spud in a Bucket pack for $10. Prizes supplied by Bunnings Warehouse for the most potatoes and heaviest bucket.
