Alzheimers Taranaki
Alzheimers Taranaki provides support and education to people living in Taranaki who are affected by dementia. We also offer information to the medical and community professions about dementia.
Our services include:
- Weekly Day Programme - "Tuesday/Friday Club"
- Carer Support Groups
- Education Programmes
- Field Workers
- Social gatherings through the monthly "Memory Café days"
- Advocacy
- Newsletter and other information
Membership is just $25.00 per annum (for individuals and families) and $100 for rest homes and businesses (includes one free education session of one hour maximum). Members receive our newsletters and access to our library. Membership is encouraged; however it's not a pre-requisite for information, support or any other services.
