Alzheimers Southland
Alzheimers Southland offers support, education and information to anyone wanting to know more about dementia. We provide educational talks, information sessions, support groups and home visits to clients. We are located in Southland Community House, first floor, 46 Kelvin Street, Invercargill. Alzheimers Southland is a not-for-profit organisation which receives no government funding and relies solely on donations, subscription fees paid by members, fundraising and grants from community funders. We use the funds we raise to help to break down the social barriers people with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia encounter in the community. This is achieved through our free advice, support and community education.
