 Resource for Customer Service Businesses

We are pleased to provide this new resource: "Understanding and respecting customers with a dementia: A guide for staff".

This practical is designed to assist the business community to identify and better understand customers with a dementia.

Include it in your induction packs, staff training packs and help make life better for all your customers affected by dementia.

A 'first' for New Zealand, the guide was launched in August 2014. The Hon. Jo Goodhew attended the launch and was excited to see such a practical and innovative guide available to the business community.

Alzheimers Wellington wish to acknowledge the help and kindness of Hampshire County Council, Innovations in Dementia and the Local Government Association, UK for their kind permission to adapt the guide.
