Wanda Trak                                                         

In partnership with the local Search and Rescue Team Alzheimers Nelson manages the Wanda Trak system. The pendant is a GPS locator that the client wears, these pendants are a valuable part of our service; they offer peace of mind to the carer knowing that if their family member wanders they will be located much faster.To access this service we request that you become a member of our Society

Alz Café

Once a month we hold a cafe called  Alz Cafe, which is held at the Boathouse in Nelson and at Toad Hall in Motueka.                                                                  This is an opportunity  for people with dementia and their carer’s/friend and family to gather and indulge in morning tea if they so wish. Library Service

Alzheimers Nelson has an extensive library with books, DVD’s and other resources. To access our library we request that you become a member of our Society
