Spread the word

There are lots of ways you can get involved and help us spread the word about dementia.

  • Talk about it: Word of mouth is one of the most effective communications tools there is. Let people know about the campaign and encourage them to visit aboutdementia.org.nz to find out more.
  • Share it: Like Alzheimers NZ on Facebook and join our Twitter community. We’ll be posting updates and information about the campaign and about dementia on a regular basis, and you can help us out by sharing those. You could also share the campaign advertisements with family, friends and colleagues – these can be downloaded here .
  • Take part in an event: Events are being held up and down the country to raise awareness of dementia – click here to see what’s happening in your area. You might even like to think about hosting your own event.
  • Put up posters: Put up our campaign posters in your office or workplace. You can email comms@alzheimers.org.nz or call 04 387 8264 to order printed posters. New posters and other resources will be released throughout the campaign, so check back here regularly.
  • Share your story: If you have a personal experience with dementia and would like to tell your story as part of the campaign please get in touch with us on 04 387 8264 or email comms@alzheimers.org.nz
