Alzheimers NZ is launching another chapter of the About Dementia campaign this month, with new television and online advertisements being aired nationally.
The final part of the campaign titled Let’s get our heads around dementia, will also focus on the personal stories of six Kiwis who have been affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
Champions for Alzheimers NZ, Colin Mathura-Jeffree and Kerry Prendergast, share personal experiences of their family members who have been diagnosed with the condition.
With the awareness campaign we aim to help people get their ‘heads around dementia’ by providing easily accessible information and support services.
The television advertisements are airing between 28 March 2016 and 9 April 2016 on free to air TV channels. The final round is set to be released in June.
Videos of the personal stories, television advertisements and digital banners can be found on Alzheimers NZ’s campaign homepage.
