Wear Purple for World Alzheimers Day

Join us and Wear Purple for World Alzheimers Day

Every 3 seconds, someone in the world develops dementia. Here in New Zealand, 4 out of 5 Kiwis are affected by dementia.

The impact of dementia on Kiwi families/whānau is growing each year, and affects people of all ages.

Help raise awareness of dementia by donning your best purple threads on Friday 21st September, which is World Alzheimers Day.

Help us spread the word! We have some great digital resources to share on social media which can be downloaded below.

On the day, be sure to share a photo of your purple outfits and tag your social media photos and posts with #WearPurple and #WorldAlzMonth.

Get involved with World Alzheimers Month!

Wearing purple is just one way you can get involved with the World Alzheimers Month campaign. You could also join a Memory Walk, or become a Dementia Friend. Find out more here.
