Alzheimers Wellington has three Community Workers who cover Wellington & Porirua, the Hutt Valley and the Kapiti Coast providing

- Telephone contact
- Information and education
- Supporter meetings
- Meetings for people with dementia
- Information and linking services to other support services such as day care, home help or relief care, taxi vouchers
- Personal advocacy
We have a library that includes a variety of material on different aspects of dementia, including understanding dementia and coping strategies.
We provide education by:
- Early memory group for people with dementia
- Free education programme for people involved in the care of someone with dementia
- Educational seminars for rest homes (1 free per year to our corporate members)
- Information sessions for community groups
