Alzheimers Waikato
Alzheimers Waikato offers support, advocacy and education for people with dementia and/or their primary carer and extended family/whanau. Our staff advise and support people over the phone, through home visits or in groups. We also inform people of services they may be eligible for and help them access relevant support.
We offer Family Education/Information sessions, Communications Workshops and presentations on Late Stage Dementia. All sessions are held monthly at Stephens Church, corner of Ohaupo Road and Mahoe Street, Hamilton, and in various smaller towns at intervals throughout the year. If you would like a session to be presented in your area, please contact the manager and request this (contact details at the bottom of this page).
