Alzheimers Southland
Alzheimers Society Southland employs a full time Community Support Worker, Debs Jenkins and a part time Office Co-ordinator, Donna Ferguson to offer advice, support and education to anyone wishing to know more about dementia. We are located in Southland Community House, first floor, 46 Kelvin Street, Invercargill. Alzheimers Society Southland is a not for profit organisation which receives no government funding and relies solely on donations, subscription fees paid by members, fundraising and grants from community funders. With all the funds we raise we help to break down social barriers that people affected by Alzheimers and Dementia encounter in the community. This is achieved through giving free advice, support and community education..
