MANAGER/EDUCATOR: Jane KayJane is a teacher by profession and has spent most of her working life in the special needs area. She began working with people affected by dementia in March 2007, after emigrating to New Zealand at the end of 2006. She has filled the role of manager/educator since January 2010 and wears many other “hats” when the need arises. |

ADMINISTRATOR: Margaret BrewertonMargaret has worked with people with dementia and their families in the Waikato region since 2000. Her first office was “a broom cupboard” but she steered the organisation through a wonderful period of growth and development. She comes from a farming background and has vast administration and bookkeeping experience. |

SUPPORT COORDINATOR: Florence MonsonFlorence has been in her support coordinator role for almost ten years. She comes from a nursing background and has a degree in Social Science with Adult Education as a major with supporting subjects counselling and psychology. Florence is well-known and respected amongst the community and health professionals and well-loved by clients.

SUPPORT COORDINATOR - Wayne PrudenWayne joined Alzheimers Waikato in January 2009 as a support co-ordinator. After the collapse of the old organisation he continued to do volunteer work for people with dementia and worked for a time as a recovery facilitator for Health Care NZ. He was warmly welcomed back by the staff, board and clients in March 2011. Besides his support co-ordination role Wayne is responsible for the provision of personal locator devices to clients who have a history or the potential to wander. |
